Family Vacation...

to our house.

My family (mom, Val, Grandma & Papa) came down to visit, see the belly, and check out our house. It was a whirlwind tour...not even 24 hours, but I enjoyed seeing them and showing off all of Donnie's hard work! It was a lot of fun, but next time I'll carry around my bottle of French dressing in my purse (apparently there is NO French dressing in Arkadelphia!)

MY SISTER IS ENGAGED!!!

Wow! She's so sweet and turning 20 years old. I guess I'll let her get married! I think they will end up great together. Check out her blog.

Aaron & Rachel's Wedding!

Baby Shower in Greenville

Evelyn and Christy gave us a baby shower in Greenville. It was so lovely! There was lots of yummy food (including those pineapple sandwiches and Chick-fil-A nuggets!) and lots of fun people! It was great to be able to see all the family and for them to be able to "meet" Baby Copeland!

South Carolina

We made it! We arrived the evening of June 2 in Clarksville. It's a very small town. Donnie's parents and Andrew met us and we hung out in Clarksville and McCormick and we walked around the lake and the dam. It was beautiful!

The beginning of our vacation

After leaving Arkadoo, we stopped in Murfreesboro to spend the night with Rachel, and then after an amazing breakfast at Mimi's, we headed on toward South Carolina.

Hurray that we got to stop in Atlanta on the way and go to IKEA! Only my favorite place in the whole world! We had a great time looking at stuff and got 2 little things for Baby Copeland: a play mat and finger puppets.

Staying busy?

Whoa! We are staying way too busy!

Or maybe we're just overwhelmed at all the things that SHOULD be keeping us busy, so we're not doing nearly as many as we should be!

Today we went and bought ceiling paint, which is fun. Now we just need to use it. We also priced tile, carpet, vanities, toilets, and other amazingly fun things. Now we just need to buy them, read instructions about them and install them! Hopefully by the time I blog next, we'll have actually done something to the house!!!
